Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs your use of the GauntletScore API and related services operated by Genstrata, Inc. This policy supplements our Terms of Service.
2. Permitted Use
GauntletScore is designed for:
- Verifying the accuracy and reliability of AI-generated documents
- Evaluating the safety of code, scripts, and AI agent skills before deployment
- Detecting fabricated citations, incorrect calculations, and unsupported claims
- Producing cryptographic trust certificates for compliance and audit purposes
- Publishing verified skill scores to the public registry for community benefit
3. Prohibited Conduct
You may not use GauntletScore to:
- Submit illegal content: Do not submit content that violates any applicable law, including content that infringes intellectual property rights, contains child exploitation material, or constitutes threats of violence.
- Attack the Service: Do not attempt to compromise, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to GauntletScore infrastructure, including denial-of-service attacks, SQL injection, or brute-force attacks on API keys.
- Circumvent limits: Do not bypass rate limits, credit restrictions, or authentication controls.
- Misrepresent scores: Do not display a Gauntlet Score or certificate that was generated for a different document version than the one currently published. Do not forge, alter, or fabricate certificates.
- Automated abuse: Do not use automated systems to submit excessive analysis requests for the purpose of consuming platform resources or reverse-engineering scoring algorithms.
- Competitive extraction: Do not scrape, data mine, or systematically extract verification results, scoring data, or debate transcripts for the purpose of building a competing service.
- Harassment: Do not use GauntletScore results to harass, defame, or target individuals or organizations.
4. Rate Limits
The following limits apply to all API users:
- Maximum 3 concurrent analysis jobs per API key
- Maximum document size: 500 KB
- Source URL fetching: HTTPS only, 30-second timeout

5. Public Registry
If you opt in to listing results in the public registry (by setting public: true in your API request), the following data becomes publicly visible:
- Source URL of the analyzed document or skill
- Skill name (extracted from the URL)
- Gauntlet Score and letter grade
- Agent vote breakdown
- Verification date
Document content and full transcripts are never published to the registry. Public listing is opt-in and cannot be reversed after publication.
6. Enforcement
Violations of this AUP may result in:
- Warning notification
- Temporary suspension of API access
- Permanent revocation of API access
- Forfeiture of remaining credits
- Legal action for serious violations
We reserve the right to determine what constitutes a violation and to take appropriate action at our discretion.
7. Reporting Violations
To report a violation of this policy, contact us at abuse@genstrata.com. Include the relevant certificate ID, API request details, or other evidence of the violation.
